WestJet during the weekend of 19 MAY 2019’s schedule update filed Boeing 787-9 aircraft service in winter 2019/20 season. The 787-9 aircraft will be introduced on following routes.
Calgary – Kahului eff 31OCT2019 2 weekly (787-9 operates 5 weekly 12MAR20 – 22APR20)
Toronto – London Gatwick eff 23OCT2019 1 daily
Separately, the airline in winter 2019/20 season will add 4th weekly flight for Calgary – London Gatwick route, operated by Boeing 787-9 aircraft.
WestJet in the recent weeks expanded codeshare partnership with Air France, as the latter’s additional European service carrying WestJet’s WS-coded flight numbers, from 18MAY19.
