Cancelled flights and rerouting of our passengers

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, we have had to make changes to our flight operations and announce that we will gradually suspend our flights.

If you were unable to travel due to the cancellation of your flight, you will receive a credit for future travel to be used within 24 months of your original travel dates. You do not need to contact us to obtain this credit, it will be automatically applied to your account.

Transat would like to reassure you that we are making every effort in coordinating our repatriation flights. We are striving to ensure that the number of operating flights and available seats is sufficient to bring back all our customers to their country of origin as quickly as possible. All repatriations will be completed by April 1, 2020.

For our customers at destination whose flights are cancelled:

Temporary suspension of our flights

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, we are temporarily suspending our flights starting April 1.

To date, our repatriation flights have brought home almost all our customers, as well as other travellers.

Canadians can also refer to the embassies and consulates directory (https://travel.gc.ca/assistance/embassies-consulates) which contains contact information for government offices that provide consular services to Canadians abroad.
