WESTJET CARGO – CONNECTING WHAT’S NEEDED
WestJet is helping keep critical domestic supply chain lines open during the COVID-19 pandemic.
To help meet the needs of Canadians, WestJet continues to fly scheduled cargo operations to its 23 domestic cargo bases across Canada, bringing thousands of pounds of critical supplies each day including perishables, pharmaceuticals, blood products and many other necessary items that need to be shipped quickly, carefully and on time.
“WestJet Cargo is helping keep vital supply chains open and moving,” said Charles Duncan, WestJet Executive Vice-President Strategy and Cargo. “Canadians are depending on us to move critical provisions – from medical products and perishables to household goods – connecting our cargo bases is what we do, in good times and in bad.”
