TORONTO, ON, SEPTEMBER 26, 2022 – Canada Jetlines Operations Ltd. (NEO: CJET) (“Canada Jetlines”) the new, all-Canadian, leisure airline, reacts to news that the Government of Canada will lift COVID-19 entry restrictions, including testing, quarantine, and isolation requirements for anyone entering Canada. Transport Canada is also removing existing travel requirements. As of October 1, travelers will no longer be required to undergo health checks for travel via air and rail, or wear masks on planes and trains. This news follows the airlines’ recent launch out of its travel hub at Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ), with its first scheduled route into Calgary International Airport (YYC) on September 22, 2022.

“Canada Jetlines applauds the Canadian Government’s decision to remove COVID border measures,” shared Eddy Doyle, CEO of Canada Jetlines. “This is a critical step for inbound and outbound travel and tourism in Canada. We appreciate the difficult decisions that needed to be made to ensure the safety of Canadians over the last two years. We are confident that this very important move will align Canada with many other countries around the world and will contribute to economic growth, job creation and free movement”
